Suicide Silence
A smile so bright
A laugh to excite
A heart so big
You would have to be trig
To know what he was hiding
Outside seems so warm and inviting
But did you ever consider
That she was just good at lying?
Smiles to hide her cries
Long sleeves to hide her goodbyes
She never cuts deep enough to die
Just enough to scream inside
No one ever takes a second look
So her heart sits in a nook
Never to know the meaning of love
But to only watch flying doves
She does not want to be a bother
So she will not tell another
She claims to be strong
But they are all wrong
Because they are all too selfish to see
That she is in desperate need
Her world is shaking
And her future is changing
If her mind hadn't been so deadly
Maybe that gun wouldn't have looked so friendly.
