Scars Original
The ground is hard like my heart, but I stand tall.
I am strong I don’t want to tell him that he’s wrong about it all.
I really need someone to lean on.
My heart is empty and cold,
My brokenness leaves me vulnerable,
scarred by his hands
so long ago
I just want to feel whole.
make amends,
fix things,
and let go.
Marked by his fingers from his words is my heart like I don’t feel a thing.
