Flames
They think I'm coping better than I am.
They think I can handle this better than I can.
What they don't realise and never will see:
The person you depend on could never be me.
Our realities are so far away,
You speak a language I couldn't say.
You live in a way I could never learn.
I prefer being alone; no ones concern.
I break your rules, I don't fit your mould,
I am copper where you are gold.
I tear you apart, cause your pains,
Attempts of good end up in flames.
I'm not the person you require:
My world is dangerous, and lit by fire.
I'll go where I've never been before,
And that place, is no doubt, the spark in a war.
