Friends
'Friends' is such a petty word,
To think that's what we were called: absurd!
Starting tonight, I forget what's gone,
We're in the past, let's move on.
Cruel and harsh you all became,
Left me with only you to blame.
Continue to lie, do what you must,
Promises have turned to dust.
I'll never tell, you won't know I know,
And on the day I feel your woe,
I will simply laugh and move away.
Tell me then, it's still okay?
Broken, weak, can't recover,
I'll be 'friends' with another.
Eyes pleading more than sorry can bare.
Never again expect me to care.
