Dawn Anew
After dawn breaks anew
The sun will shine
And bury you.
Sheep, sheep, cross the street.
No more useful
Than a slab of meat.
Different, ney,
We’re all the same.
Just different shades of gray.
Lord, O Lord
Why am I here?
Where is my reward?
The monster gets no peace
Praying, praying all day
For life to cease.
But dawn will still break anew
And the sun will shine
And bury you.
And you will weep
As you walk among the sheep.
You will don gray
And your feet will lead the way.
And you will pray
But get no pay.
The monster will die
By the noose in his tie.
And dawn will break anew
But you will change
Your point of view.
