Fixed Up
Far away, not here or yesterday,
came the depths that rescued me.
In this cause were eternal flaws that
carried out on my skin.
My sorrow and sin would surely win
as I took in and began to cave.
For my rotten soul I hope God
will graciously save.
Falling deeper, wall are steeper,
turning me upside down.
From down below in my pitiful hell you can't
even hear a sound.
So this is where I'll start out from,
covered in mud but brave.
No longer,
No more will I be the devils slave.
I'll come up, I'll come through,
Happier than you ever knew.
So now we'll see what lies ahead,
Just me myself and my silly head.

This began as free verse, but then shifted to a ballad-ish thing, so yeah.
