Broken Generation
Three red ovals in my hand
That could temporarily take the pain away
These three pills made me feel so grand
But, it makes my soul slowly decay
The smoke slipping out of my mouth
My eyes dwelling with water
Everything from here will go south
Muttering to myself “Why can't I be stronger”
Taking a chug from that glass bottle
They have a good time for the night
Feelings inside nothing but, awful
Feeling worse when they awake
The starry eyed girl goes up stairs
With the blue eyed boy
Little does she know that the boy does not care
All the girl was too the boy was a toy
bawling in her bedroom
she slices her skin with a lifeless piece of metal
The blood soaking the sheets
all she wanted was for someone too think she was special
But no devil would allow that
This is the broken generation
But, we can overcome this together
The youth is full of lost souls and addictions
Just remember it always gets better
You are loved by me and you're creator
He wants to spend time with you
He will help you get better
He is the only one who can make you truly feel alive
He can help you get out of the darkness
He will fill you with hope
Turn away the devil because he is heartless
Darling part down that dope
Toss those pills too the ground
Put down that dope
You will no longer drown
Tell that blue eyed boy no
Flush that blade down the toilet
Lets God love overflow
Let God be your new outlet
For his love is uplifting
And he wants to help for you are his child
He will help you stop feeling like nothing
Because you are his precious child

This Piece is about how our generation is broken. I didnt put in all issues like bullying and self image but, I did what I felt fit in my heart. I have many ideas why because of the hard ships the lack of God in our heart. But, if we go to God we can get through anything.
