The doll at the bottom of the lake twists and turns with the tide
A fatally wounded eagle
who never learned to fly
the sky's tears filled that empty bottle
making the mermaids cry
losing balance on the ship
and then the water flipped
swimming deeper when the ocean split
at least he can say it was one hell of a ride
but into the water he fell
and then he died
