Primary Colors
You are the red behind my eyes
when I'm trying not to cry.
You are the blue that clouds my brain
since the night you waved goodbye.
You are the yellow sun I see,
as bright as what we had.
You are every primary color
and I crave for you like mad.
I would say that I don't need you,
but that simply isn't true;
I can't paint any of my future
without every bit of you.
