Difference
I am the piece to make you whole,
I am the love that warms your soul.
You are my sky, my silver lining.
You are the sun when it isn't shining.
I am the future that your past requires;
I am the match that starts your fires.
You are my rock through the hardest times;
You are the combination that makes the rhymes.
I am the fabric which wipes your tears;
I am the trust that removes your fears.
You are my voice which speaks to all;
You are the net to catch my fall.
I am the spark that lights your eyes,
I am the cheer for your surprise.
You are my stars, my day and night;
You are my soldier when I cannot fight.
But, I am the nightmare that keeps you awake,
I am the happiness you cannot take.
You are the wound that bleeds me dry,
You are the delicate white in my lies.
I am the smoke that blackens your veins,
I am the the treason to the king who reins.
You are the knife that opens the wound,
You are the string that can't be tuned.
I am the ice that crumbles down,
I am the story that makes you a clown.
You are the paper that hangs from the walls,
You are the glass that shatters when falls.
I am the sticks that are thrown with stones,
I am the force that breaks your bones.
You are the poison from which I sip,
You are the sorry that hangs from my lip.
