A letter never posted
Dear friend,
When I met you, I understood,
You were the friend I needed;
And as much as I really could,
Towards friendship’s eternity I proceeded.
Day by day, the bond grew stronger,
This amity might persist longer;
I trusted and moved on,
And the seed of true friendship was sown.
For your selfish means, you made new friends,
“One comes, the other gone!” Oh dear, friends are not mere trends!
Infinity is friendship’s depth and infinity is its height,
Trust is its essence and love is its might.
I followed you, you forgot me,
You were changed, you ignored my plea;
I trusted and I wept,
I waited but you left.
You never feared, you never cared,
That friendship can finally end;
It is something which can never be repaired;
Once it is badly bent.
Make new friends and forget none!
Having friends is really fun!
Time is fleeting, again it will never come,
Don’t cry later in the long run;
Time and tide wait for none,
True friends are found by some!
-From a dear friend.
