Limits
Words can not be taken back
Once you let them go.
Even if I give all my best
A “yes” won’t be born from “no”.
I can not freeze
An hourglass’s falling sand
No matter how hard I grasp it
In my weak mortal hands.
The realest moment’s always
The quickest to fade to clouds
Happiest feelings get concealed
Behind memories’ grim shroud.
Why have we bet everything
On one single fragile stake.
Once the illusions die off
The mirage seems so fake.
Happily ever afters
Naive wishes from the start
Empty when heart is too full
Only full with empty heart.
We have flipped through
Our fairy tale book too fast
Ignorant of the ending
Coming up at last.
