the last time we spoke
days will turn into night
the sun will always set
and
the sun will always rise.
the daytime passes quickly
distractions prevent you from recalling the sorrow,
the pain,
the hurt.
but like the moon
sorrow is an invariable
you may not always see it,
you will not always feel it
but nevertheless,
it is always there.
when the sun sets
it upsets
the words you said
the words run through my head
my heart aches
for the love that is now dead
