One lonely evening

in the midst of this hustle-bustle city,
i am alone oh mighty!
horns, rustling, chatting, chirping was all i could hear,
i feel pity for myself oh dear,

cuckoo and sparrow resting on the netted branches are my friends,
the ball rolling into mud puddle fills the air with  companionship,
those rustling vintage leaves break the silence ,
i feel the sense of an absence,

my ex-playmate was a fine lady who is busy on her phone,
alone i sit and  whine,
the bright yellow sphere sets in the west,
i decide 'its time to rest'',

reluctantly i move in,
my heart is deposited with sadness like lignin,
''sister'' runs a young boy,
my soul flies into the sky,

"i will play with u'' says the hominid ,
my eyes get blind folded,
as i count i think,
i have a compassionate playmate and a wink.
