Dirt Paws
Pure blackness,
Utter chaos and division,
Come on,
Please make a decision.
Marks of dirt,
Show how you made them feel.
For them,
It is so very real.
When you lock them up,
And hear their whines
And still playful ways
How are they still so loyal
After being tortured in yet another way.
And when their hearts are broken
And they stand in the dark with muddy paws,
I wonder if you feel bad even at all.
Ravenous appetites,
There are too many
For me to feed.
What shall I do?
And through and through,
You keep on going, guilt never showing.
And I have to ask myself how could you,
Why would you?
And then I know,
A fact that makes my heart grow.
One day,
The right kind of karmas will hit
The right kind of people
In the right kind of way.
I smile.
That’ll be the day.
