flowers
every person is both living
and dying
simultaneously.
every single person’s body is working so hard
pumping stardust and oxygen,
pumping life,
despite the inevitable,
undeniable fate fast approaching.
the universe spends it’s
eighty-six thousand seconds,
each and every day,
to keep us alive.
yet, we fail to see.
we fail to see our beauty
our worth
our purpose.
we fail to spend the time we have loving
ourselves,
loving each other.
but despite,
our blood will pump,
and we will live
and die.
-isn’t it strange, how some kill nature
because they think it is beautiful,
but kill themselves because
they believe they are not?
