Life as a Animal
They have no say
Locked up all day
Living their life only by the second
They never know, when they will go?
They sit in a crate, waiting
A trade in for a five minute meal
Is the trade in of death
The have no chance to live
Born and bred for you to eat
Only for you to mistreat it.
They sit in a crate, waiting
That was a animals life,
That you just charred on the grill.
Medium rare,
Rarer than the life they never got to live.
They sit in a crate, waiting
They have a silent conversation
Through pleas of there eyes,
Hoping their sentence will change
Hoping they will survive
But its life, a full sentence
But no jury to decide.
There only crime was being born as a animal.
Don’t forget we are animals too.
