Where I'm From
I am from each changing season.
From all the colorful flowers and each rain shower.
To the sand between my toes,
And the heat of the sun on my back.
I am from the crisp fall leaves and jack-o-lanterns at
Each house I pass, to my rosy cheeks from the cold,
Glistening snow falling from the sky.
I am a wildflower on a hill,
surrounded by beautiful colors and the
warm summer sunset against my petals.
I am a Blue Spruce in the wintertime
With my frosty blue pine needles,
Glistening in the cold sun.
I am a tulip during spring.
Growing, blossoming, shedding my soul,
And changing with every season that goes by, year
After year.
