Blessed is the blood that was meant to be spilt
The cut down limbs and broken chairs
The busted lips, torn pages, and gnawed pencils

Blessed are the dirty shoes that broke
The hammered nails and drippy faucet
The un-ripped seals and un-parted seas

Blessed are the crooked frames
And the unborn babies
And the shed tears that bled through lines

Blessed are the crinkles of a smile
The undyed hair and the shame of being original

The author's comments:

I was inspired by an author who wrote a peice like this. In the poem the author gave blessings to things you dont usually give blessings to.
