The train doesn’t wait
For anyone
As it screeches along
It’s constantly changing tracks
Leading down
To the scorching fires
Or providing a smooth,
Luxurious ride to Paradise
Some people
Want to get off
Because they’ve boarded
The wrong train
The train with
Bad decisions
That force people
Into a lethal mindset
Those people choose
To exit the train
Before it has
Arrived at the station
Making it feel
Unbalanced by
Leaving behind
An empty seat
