FIREFIGHTER'S LIFE

There's fire burning inside of me
It fuels my everyday life
I run through the walls and debris
As the flames rip through the house like a knife
I stay brave
And keep on going
In my head I know there could be someone I have to save.
Unlike a flower the water keeps the water from growing.
When I find what I'm looking for,
I should feel relief but the danger is still great
To save this life I have to get out the door
Because I am in control of their fate.
