Passion
I am built with greatness in my blood,
competition in my future—
a passion, a proficiency, a positive outlook.
I was raised from lifeline of equestrians,
where horses aren't an animal—
they are the meaning of life.
I am from parents that without horses, would never know each other,
where horses made them discover who they were—
and who they wanted to be by finding love for one another.
I was raised by World Champions,
where their success nevermore unknown—
their titles will stay with them as they are known by all.
I am from championship wins and defeats,
where the feeling of power makes me feel unordinary—
confident.
I was raised watching my father compete,
where his horses indure optimism—
quickley, his life got ahead of him, his mother sick.
I am from a family affected by Alzheimer's,
where the disease takes over and ruins life's vision—
standing over my Nanas grave, I wished for my father to gain back his passion for horses.
I am from equestrian blood,
where competitions bring people from the United States, Canada and South Africa—
it creates friendships with people you never knew existed.
I was raised with a life based on horses,
where the world choose me—
not only with a story, but with an experience.
