She Waits
He was a California boy born in Texas
She was a girl living in her dreams
He made her laugh
He made her feel
But Texas couldn’t keep him
He was made for gold
Ripped away by dreams unknown
Lost to worlds anew
They are the day the night the sun the moon
When they meet it’s red
When they part it’s purple
The moon and the sun never touch
For the moon reflects the sun’s brilliance
Someday they find love
In extravagant lives ahead
For now they wait
