The Seasons
The Seasons come and go
They change as they please
Their colors collide
Making a beautiful and constant kaleidoscope
Forever present is her breath of life
She paralyzes the moisture
Her glow sparkles across the dunes of WINTER
As she settles in to give mother nature a long awaited rest
Everything white
The chill leaves no trace of warmth
Until it’s time for the frigid blanket to awaken the seeds from slumber
She is uncovered by the beaming sun
Then the sprouts germinate from the ground
The stems unearthed themselves
Reaching for the embrace of her golden rays
Her blossoms begin to bud
The smell of dew heightens her aroma
After a heavy rain surrounds the garden of God
SPRING is now here
The blazing heat rises from her palms
The days grow as she stretches all of her limbs
Embracing her warm, tender touch
The earth rejoices in a frequency of color
Constant sunshine pouring through her fingers
The evergreens and daffodils flourishing in her presence
Kissing the surface are the rays of the sun in the blue-jay colored sky
It’s magnificent SUMMER
Waves of Red, Yellow, and Orange
Drape the trees
The air starts it’s low howl of Autumn
And her tones of Fall vanish from her limbs
Yawning to settle in for her long winter nap
Her hands sway, cooling the air
Days grow shorter
Getting ready to hug the earth-
Preparing for the slumber about to begin
A breath of bitter cold awakens from beneath
AUTUMN has fallen
