Fabric And What It Isn't Or Is
Fabric And What It Isn’t Or Is
Might we see through layers of fog?
When lost and gone astray?
When trapped in an inescapable bog,
Might fears and hopes just melt away.
Though hold it close and hold it near.
That which is in your heart.
Stay close and protect what you hold dear,
Then you may gain your start.
It could be true that life just ends.
Though nonetheless that is expected.
The fabric that holds gets torn then rends,
As if maintenance was neglected.
Care not for that or even this.
Or perhaps just not care at all.
Might at you life just scratch and hiss
Like you’re some frail old doll.
Worry not of what might come.
When the mist has finally settled.
It’s just an aggregate or a sum,
Of with what life has dutifully meddled.
Carry forward carry on.
When snowstorms come your way.
See through the night into the dawn,
Then feel a golden ray.
Of sunshine clash and warm your face.
With which you would anoint.
Your stake and bet in this grand race,
To what you might appoint.
So gather on and gather well.
Life for you won’t wait.
Now on your journey you might tell,
Just what lies in your fate.

This is definitley a piece, I can't deny that. Yet, at the exact same time I ever so wish I could. Though alas it exists and there is not much I can do about that.
