Crumble
You say I am made of
iron.
I am strong.
Unbreakable.
words;
they’re not supposed to hurt me.
You force me
to feel like I can’t
ever
be weak.
You say I have to
be strong.
And I can’t crack
under your pressure
your judgment
your force.
Because that is weak.
But even iron rusts
and one day
the strong, working
machine that
you have made me
will
crumble.
