Pretty Broken Girls
Pretty broken girls and broken things
Breaking hearts you hear them sing
The tales of loneliness we tell ourselves to sleep
At least we’ll never be like you
Plaster smiles to plastic faces
But I’d never complain like you
We don't live in a pretty world
The wind blew
Pretty girls in their pretty world
I wasn't talking to you
Why like me
I don’t like myself
Dusted off an old shelf
I wasn’t wanted never wanted
To be anyone else
Our faces pretty but not the places we live
So I stay here on the shelf so you can't be
And fight so you don't
I'm not pretty without being broken
I am your pretty broken girl
Pretty girls in a pretty world left on their own
Pretty lies in your pretty world
Who are your pretty girls?
Their no pretty girls in my world
Jesus helps the pretty girl
But Jesus help their pretty world
Close your eyes
See only what you beileve
