Not All Music is Beautiful
It Wasn't that
I hadn't fallen for your smile
Or your charm, or your laugh
You see, it's that
I can see past your eyes
Into
The demons that lurk
Behind
And even though you
Try to tame them they
Match you and play you like
An instrument of lies
Of which the notes cut into
My head and heart
Making me want to scream
That I still have feelings and yet
I know
Our monsters would not play well
Together
And the duet of our souls would leave
A scar on those around us
