Born for Love
Jesus was born to give us salvation,
not discrimination, racism, and bigotry.
God gave us his only son,
so we could live a life worth living.
In today's world, we lack optimism,
yet Christ died for our future.
Are we so narcissistic,
that we do not rejoice in our salvation?
We are surrounded by hate and destruction,
but do we have the faith of a mustard seed to make a change?
Jesus's birth was for our beginning,
not our end.
Jesus is with us during the good and the bad times,
but are we there for each other.
We are supposed to be a family,
yet we neglect each other in times of need.
Jesus was born for love,
not hate nor destruction.
Not only for Christmas but every day,
Let's keep Christ in our hearts.
