Midsummer's Nightmare
I sat on the moon
all by my lonesome
dreaming of my home.
I was somewhere between
asleep and awake.
It was dark
but early
and I was filled with a peace
usually reserved for a lakeside sunset.
All the sudden,
my scene changes.
I'm in the sky.
A winged being by my side.
I'm running slowly.
Running from my feelings.
I settle in the stars.
Filled
with transnothiness.

Transnothiness means feeling nothing while experiencing tranquility. A classmate made it up and I have permission to use it.
