Tell Me...
Tell me that you love me,
tell me that you care.
Tell me that through thick and thin,
you'll always be there.
Fill me with words that promise your love,
your everlasting love for me.
Tell me that in a world full of girls,
I'm the only one you can see.
Claim how much I mean to you,
say I'm your everything.
Only you can bring me back to life,
fix my broken wings.
All the things you say to me,
deep down I know they're lies.
The words you speak are empty phrases
with a saccharine disguise.
But continue to tell me I'm beautiful,
In my ear, whisper sweet nothings and such.
Just please please please don't tell the truth,
we both know that hurts to much.
