Falling as softly as nightly embers
my heart doesn't treat as nicely
it burns with such the ferocity of one thousand fires
and my emotion never tires
but with you, my thoughts fly higher
for you'll be my soul's flame
and I'll rise for you every day
I promise to be nothing to tame
but I'll lavish you with such love that your life will never be the same
all I ask is for you to be mine maybe one day
