Dry Flower
How long could it have lived if I hadn't picked it?
It would have been trampled on if it hadn’t been plucked out of the ground
Someone else could have taken it instead
He could have torn her petals apart
Why is it still colorful after being dry for so long?
It’s pigmentation amazes me even after being dehydrated for so long
That part of her keeps her appealing and admirable
Seems like even though she was ripped out of her fantasy her colors keep thriving
How is it’s stem still standing tall?
She’s very fragile and a ruthless touch could polverise her stem
Despite her weakness she looks stronger than ever
Forgetting about the good times keeps her sturdy
