The pale shadows of the forgotten glory 

Visit their familiar brick-walled haunts

They softly lift their legs and arms

As a pensive mood fills their souls

Piano notes remind them to depart

In regard to this piece, I decided to write this poem for an assignment in my dance class which required that I reflect on the movement qualities and aesthetics of a dance sequence.
