Memory Loss
What was hard to remember I could just as soon forget
leaving the events blank which used to reside in my head in my head
Bits and pieces were hard to find
Yet how I felt is something that refused to subside
Do you know what it’s like to be in so much pain
Then for part of the events to be snatched away
The weight on my shoulders seems to never fade
So I doubt I want to remember what hurt me and brought such dismay
What I can remember I could just as soon forget
Loose sheets of paper fly out of my head never to be read again

I deal with memory loss due to trauma so parts of my memory disappear when dealing with trauma or I am forced to relive it I hope this helps others who go through the same and I am sorry if you do.
