The Ivy that Grows
Ivy grows along the walls
Ivy knows not any protocols
Ivy climbs the crumbling portico
Ivy grows with the heliotropes and vines
Ivy is stronger than the most senior pines
Ivy intertwines itself among footholes in limestone
Ivy covers the face of a plumaged baritone
Ivy clings to the uneven indentations in a grey, manor tower
Ivy grows along the solid interplay of rock upon rock
Nature has given to ivy unlimited power
Sometimes vexing, sometimes sobering
In the eccentricity of these lithe, green spears

Often, I enjoy writing poems with a natural theme, and for this poem, I decided to explore the way that ivy seems to indomitablely grow almost similiar to a pervasive backdrop or accustomed noise like falling rain. I hope that you enjoy reading this poem!
