My favorite place to be
lies within the deep crevices
of rock,
Within the secluded paths
unknown to many
but there for us,
Where things are different,
As if adventuring in some
unknown land that we will
never visit but see
30 minutes away from home,
With the single wooden picnic table,
Where we eat sweets
and burn the calories,
Nice flat rocks stand over
the edge of the cliff,
To sunbathe and enjoy a new spring,
The tight spaces down below,
New paths to adventure,
All add to the relaxing enjoyment,
Where we can take time to focus
on ourselves and nature
