Me and My Memories
Me and my sister,
Lay under the night sky.
Me and my brother,
Hug until we cry.
Me and my mother,
Scream and shout.
Me and my father,
Just hang out.
Me and my cousin,
Don't speak much anymore.
Me and my grandads,
Will never knock at each others door.
Me and my grandma's,
Memories are gone.
Me and my nana,
Is a word gone wrong.
I miss my grandparents everyday,
Some are here and some past away.
But I will always remember one thing,
That me and my memories never fade.

This poem is in loving memory of my papa and grandpa who has passed away but my grandma who has not died but has Alzheimer's doesn't know who I am so it's like she's dead. The part about my cousin and nana is mainly talking about the very different lives we've lived and don't speak much and me and my mom don't get along. Me and my sister used to watch the stars at night and me and my brother have a special connection along with my dad. This poem gives you a peek behind the curtains of my life.
