The Sun Rises
I wake up
And see a flower
So Pretty
So sweet
I see a thistle
Sharp
On the outside
Soft on the inside
I see the sky
Always there
Steadfast
True
I see the water
As it flows
It leaves me behind
yet
I couldn't live without it
I see the trees
They look so calm, so still, so green
But in a storm
they strike back
They howl
they thrash
they shake
they fall
And
I see
me
Who am I?
No one's perfect.
Just be the best you.

I did this for school. I never though I could be good at poetry. I guess I just never tried. I'm not even sure this is good. Please leave a comment. (Constructive critisism is welcome). Thx for reading.
