The Waves

Sitting on that boulderstone
Staring at the sea
The wind kissing my lips
With a hint of ecstasy
The lands at the bay
Look so far away
So much like the dreams
I lost the strength to chase
The waves keep moving,
Like the life that surrounds me.
Unaware of its depth,
I keep staring mindlessly.
What if I jump now,
And try to swim across .
Will I reach the ground ?
Or will the waves drown me ruthlessly
without a single thought?
