Favorite Quote:
"I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library."

― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Rumbling turmoil lets out roars

Opposite to the quiet seas

Midnight darkness proudly soars

Moving, shaking all the trees

Connected is a charming world

Making all billows serene

Creatures swam, twirled, and whirled

She ignored her envy, as if not seen

The beauty of the shimmering waves

Angered her and lightning struck

Oh the glamour how she craves

Like a broken record her mind was stuck

It soon became too unruly

Even for the roaring tides

No mercy show, and always cruelly

Their rage so heavily collides

The dance swirled and twisted as snakes

Moving all things in the way

So much that the ground had begun to shake

Swaying, swaying for a many day

In the end when all was done

Her guilt roared and so she cried

The humble sea smiled,

as she apologized

Though the envy was far from gone

She now enjoyed her bits of charm

And finally the ugly duckling

became a so lovely swan

The author's comments:

The clouds darkened overhead and I smiled. I had missed the days when the sky cried. It made me feel inspired. Many do not know the beauty of storms and rain. I remember going to the beach when I was young and swimming in the crystal blue water when my mom would tell me

"Its gonna rain we have to go."

I used to hate it, but now I love it. It provides wramth and life to everything. I felt like many hated them so much much that she hated herself, but in the end she realized what beauty lied within the storms.
