Beautiful Place
There’s no use in crying after all is said and done
Maybe you should’ve tried harder
or maybe you should’ve just talked
Because all it takes is one word
One word to save a life
Keep your sorries to yourself
It won’t bring back what is gone
All those days that I cried
wishing you were here is over
So let me tell you one last thing
It was good meeting you
I know I would be missed
But you didn’t miss me earlier
Let me tell you the truth
I’m leaving, not where you think I’m
But another beautiful place
where pain is easier and life is magic.

I wrote this on one of my darkest days. The piece was born from my tears and the intensity of my loneliness. The poem portrays how the monotonous life drives you to dream of an escape reality. Iam sure a lot of teenagers like me can relate to this poem which is definitely alarming. Yet I feel like there is hope for all of us.
