That I do, indeed
Red skies.
Blue lakes.
Yellow trees.
Ageless skin.
You within me is a wonderful thing.
Time melts away like candles in church,
You wish to rush away.
Why are you always in such a hurry?
Please, stay a little longer.
Am I asking too much?
You see,
I don’t know anybody else besides you.
I know love only by you.
Evening lust settles down,
And cigarette smoke erupts.
Ruffling through drawers,
You look for paper.
You say,
“I’ll leave this address. You know the time.”
That I do, indeed.
I’ll come whenever you want me to.
When will you understand that time is only but a mere illusion?
Why are you always in such a hurry?
