Depth
It is so difficult to fill in with words, the voids that your eyes can fill with a look.
It is so difficult to express in tears, the emotions that your smile can reveal.
And in these voids, these tears, lies abundance.
Abundance of the love that you can give to the world and Abundance of the life that surrounds.
The deep sorrow that lies in you, and the stories that you’ve never told,
All are your own but still you have no one to hold.
Sleeping alone and bearing the cold,
You tell yourself that you are growing old.
You see death as a better companion than life,
But then again it hits you, “Of what I see, is it all true?”
You remember someday, somewhere, you read in a book,
“It is so difficult to fill in with words, the spaces that your eyes can fill with a look”.
Now you smile and try to heal,
“It is so difficult to express in tears, the emotions that your smile can reveal”.
