The philosophy of the french revolution
The french revolution started because of the philosophers
The shopkeeper, meat seller and the middle-class workers
They had spread the idea of revolt throughout the nation
And due to this, people started building up aggression
John Locke was an English philosopher
His ‘Two treaties of government’ was a blockbuster
He Refuted the divine right of kingship
This brought down the king from the chairmanship
The next philosopher was Jean Jack Rousseau
He always wrote with pleasure and his favourite wine Bordeaux
He wrote a lot of books including ‘The social contract’
This made the public reenact
Last but not least was Montesquieu
Because of his ‘Spirit of the Laws’ people were rescued
He proposed the Idea of Division of Power
And this was the need of the hour
The success behind the revolution were these legends
That is why they are still remembered in the present
They didn’t give up even in the worst situations
And their philosophy fought for their nation
