Consequences
My nail polish chips so easily
The smooth flakes fall with a single abrasion
Sometimes they fall of in long stripes, shinging and gentle
Other times they come of small, scrunched up in bunches
The sad little pile that results from my endless picking is meager and miniscule, contrary to the satisfying coat it could've been

I came up for this piece when I was chipping my nail polish; I just felt inspired by the pile of nail polish chippings that resulted from it. I also think there's more than one thing that this poem could apply to. I think it turned out pretty cool.
