Peachy
The days when
You would talk
To me
Long crazy
Counterproductive
Conversations
During my
Sad days you
Lifted my head
And said
Be peachy
That smile
Lit like a million stars
Be peachy you said
I asked
What is peachy
He said it was a
Form of happiness
Smiled
A million stars
Smiled while
He told me that
Peachy was an
Expression
Because it outlined
The color and
The feeling
The connotation
Of life
And good
And happy
How it
Had an idea of
Happiness
And yet
If you break it
Down
People are really
Saying be
A fruit
The fuzzy
Peachy skin
The rich
Golden flesh
The fuchsia
Inner core
And being
Peachy never
Actually worked
Never improved
The sadness inside
I laughed then
A million stars twinkling
As we laughed
Saying
Be peachy
Through breaths
But I know now
That the
Expression
Of being peachy
Doesn't change
Anything or everything
It's not like
He said
So I'm not peachy
No fuzzy
Peachy skin
No rich
Golden flesh
No fushcia
Inner core
I'm not peachy
And that's the
Way it is
