The Show Must Go On
You tell me,
Stop being so studious
why work when no one else does?
as if I have never seen you working till three in your dorm
You tell me,
Stop being so pompous
why be different when no one else is?
as if I have never seen you with crossed fingers for leadership positions
You tell me,
Stop being so serious
why don’t chill and socialize as everyone else does?
as if you are not working all day and night
I tell you,
Stop being so hypocritical
why not just stop being double-faced
as if I'm not calling the kettle black
I tell you,
Stop being so judgmental
why not just judge yourself first
as if I don't have a plank in my own eye
I tell you,
Stop being so querulous
why not just stop dwelling on how your teacher grades you
as if I didn’t do it myself
Such hypocrites. You and I.
But the show must go on.

Have you ever seen this phenomenon around you or on you before at school? Your friends ask you did you studied or not for your test, and you replied no. There is an exchange, but both sides know you are lying. This is what I am trying to present to your readers. This hypocritic show that everyone of us acts in.
