Typing
When other people type,
their fingers dip and dart
like swallows at dusk.
When I type,
my fingers ooze
like sluggish snails.
When other people type,
their words are a thundering river,
a relentless tide.
When I type,
my words are a leaking roof,
slowly dripping
one
letter
at
a
time.
