Six Feet Apart
I've always been an introvert.
Now, I'm forced to be one
I've never had many friends,
and most of the time, I didn't care,
or at least, I pretended not to.
But now, I wish I had someone
to text besides my parents.
Last year, if you asked me
if I wanted to be homeschooled,
I would have said yes
in a heartbeat.
Now, all I want is to go
back to school.
Home was a haven.
Now, it's a cage.
I never realized how much
I would miss people
until we all had to stand
six feet apart.
